How to Use the Slotora App: New User Guide for Search, Offers, Bookings, Slots, Reviews, and Business Registration
10 min read
A complete Slotora app guide for new users, covering search, offers, booking slots, custom bookings, reviews, cancellations, and business registration.
If you are opening Slotora for the first time, think of it as two apps in one. One side helps customers discover and book local services. The other side helps freelancers, shops, service providers, and businesses list themselves so customers can find and book them.
This guide explains the complete flow: how to search businesses, check offers, view slots, book appointments, cancel bookings, write reviews, and register your own business on Slotora.
1. Create Your Account or Sign In
First, create your account or sign in. After login, you will land on the customer dashboard. At the bottom of the app, you will see the main tabs: Discover, Search, Bookings, Offers, and Account.
Customers mainly use Discover, Search, Offers, and Bookings. Business owners mainly use Account, Manage Business, and the Business Dashboard.
2. How to Search Businesses on Slotora
To search for a business, open the Search tab from the bottom menu. Type what you need, such as cafe, tea shop, clinic, salon, gym, coaching, plumber, SEO, or a specific business name.
Slotora also shows quick suggestions such as Cafe near me, Restaurant, Clinic, Tea Shop, Coaching, Shopping Mall, Salon, and Gym. These suggestions help you start faster without typing the full search.
Search results show useful details like business name, category, distance, featured badge, and verification status. Tap any business card to open the full business details page.
3. What You See on a Business Details Page
When you open any business from Discover, Search, or Offers, Slotora takes you to the business details page. This page is where you check images, slots, reviews, contact options, directions, and booking availability.
On the business page, you can see the cover image, logo or profile image, business name, tagline, address, rating, reviews, distance, specialties, about section, gallery images, website button, call button, directions button, and review option.
4. How to Check Slots and Book a Slot
To check slots, first open the business details page. Below the business information, you will see the selected date. By default, Slotora usually shows today's date.
If you want another day, tap the calendar icon and choose your preferred date. After selecting the date, Slotora shows the available time slots for that business.
Each slot shows a time and status. If the slot is free, it will show as available with a Book button. If someone has already booked that time, it may show as Booked or Occupied, and you cannot book that slot.
To book, tap Book on an available slot. After confirmation, Slotora creates your booking and shows a confirmation message. You can later track the appointment from the Bookings tab.
Use Custom Booking When Regular Slots Are Not Available
If no regular slots are available for your selected date, Slotora may show a custom booking option such as Book another time. Use this when the business has not opened slots for that date or you need a different time.
Select the date, choose the time, add an optional note if needed, and tap Book Date & Time. The business can then see your requested booking details.
5. How to Check Offers on Slotora
To see offers, open the Offers tab from the bottom menu. This page shows businesses that currently have a live offer, such as 20% OFF, 50% OFF, Free Consultation, Opening Discount, or any custom offer text added by the business.
Offer listings are sorted so featured businesses and nearby businesses can get better visibility. Tap an offer to open that business page, check its details, and book from there.
6. How to Check Your Bookings
To check your bookings, open the Bookings tab from the bottom menu. Slotora shows your booking history with the business name, booking ID, service name, date, time, notes if added, and current status.
You can see active bookings, today's bookings, upcoming bookings, missed bookings, cancelled bookings, or closed bookings depending on the appointment state. Slotora separates active bookings from missed or closed bookings so your schedule stays easier to understand.
7. How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel a booking, open the Bookings tab and find the appointment. If cancellation is still allowed, Slotora shows a Cancel button.
Tap Cancel, confirm the cancellation, and the slot becomes free again for the business. If the booking time has already passed, or the booking is already completed, missed, closed, or cancelled, the Cancel button will no longer be available.
8. How to Review a Business
To review a business, open the business details page and tap Review. Select a star rating and write a short comment about your experience.
A useful review can mention service quality, timing, behavior, cleanliness, pricing, professionalism, or whether you would recommend the business. After writing your review, tap Post Review. Your review helps future customers decide faster.
9. How to Register Your Business on Slotora
To register your freelance business or regular business, go to Account and open Manage Business. If you have not registered a business yet, you will see Register Your Business.
Fill in your business name, business category, contact number, business address, and location. You can also turn on Show custom offer while registering, then write offer text like 20% OFF, Free Consultation, Buy 1 Get 1, or Opening Discount.
Use Other for Custom Business Categories
If your category is not available, choose Other. Slotora will show a custom field called Type your business category. Here you can write your own category, such as Mehndi Artist, Freelance Photographer, Video Editor, Home Tutor, Yoga Trainer, Makeup Artist, Event Decorator, CA Consultant, or any service you provide.
Set Your Accurate Store Location
Use Use Current Store Location if you want customers to get accurate directions. This is important because Slotora uses location for nearby ranking and directions. If you skip it, customers may still see your address, but distance and map directions may be less accurate.
10. Business Dashboard: Manage Slots, Schedule, and Bookings
After registration, open Manage Business and tap Open Business Dashboard. From the dashboard, business owners can manage bookings, slots, schedule, and profile details.
Go to the slots or schedule area to add available time slots, manage business hours, check which slots are booked, and see customer bookings. Keeping slots updated helps customers book without calling or waiting for confirmation.
Business owners can also create manual or walk-in bookings where available. This is useful if a customer calls, visits directly, or books outside the app. The owner can add customer details, date, time, and service manually so the slot record stays updated.
Business owners should check the Bookings section regularly. New bookings can show customer name, phone, date, time, service, and booking status. Depending on available controls, the owner can manage booking actions, cancel bookings, track upcoming appointments, and keep the schedule clean.
11. Complete Your Business Profile Properly
In the business profile section, complete every detail carefully because these details directly affect how professional your listing looks. Add a strong logo, cover image, gallery photos, tagline, specialties, about section, location, offer, and availability.
Logo or Profile Image
Use a square image for the business logo or profile image. Recommended size: 512 x 512 px minimum, and 1024 x 1024 px is better. Keep the business name or symbol centered because Slotora displays it in a rounded or circle-style area. Avoid tiny text.
Cover or Banner Image
For the cover or banner image, Slotora recommends a 16:9 ratio. Best sizes are 1600 x 900 px or 1920 x 1080 px. This image appears as the wide visual on the business details page, so use a clean shop photo, service photo, workspace photo, or branded banner.
Gallery Images
Slotora allows up to 4 business images in the gallery. Use clear photos of your shop, service, menu, work samples, team, before-after results, or product display. Recommended sizes include 1200 x 900 px, 1080 x 1080 px, or 1600 x 900 px. Keep them bright and real.
Tagline
Write one short line customers can understand instantly. Examples include Fresh tea and snacks near you, Affordable home repair services, Professional salon for men and women, Freelance website and app developer, or Trusted coaching for school students.
Specialties
Write your main services in simple words. Examples include Haircut, facial, bridal makeup, AC repair, washing machine repair, fridge service, logo design, website design, SEO, math tuition, science coaching, and exam preparation. This helps Slotora search understand your business better.
About Services
Keep the About Services section short and useful. Slotora limits this to around 100 words. Mention who you help, what you offer, your service area, timing style, and why customers should book you.
Offers
Keep offer text short because it appears on business cards. Good examples are 20% OFF, Free First Consultation, Flat Rs. 100 Off, Weekend Special, New Customer Offer, or Limited Time Deal.
12. Keep Your Business Active and Updated
After registration, keep your business status open if you are accepting customers. If you turn the business closed, customers will see that status.
Update your offer whenever needed, add business images, set your location, create slots, and check bookings regularly. The more complete your business profile is, the easier it becomes for customers to trust it, find it, and book it.
Complete Slotora Customer Flow
The complete customer flow is: create account, search business, open business details, check images and reviews, choose date, check available slots, book a slot or custom time, track it in Bookings, cancel if needed, and later write a review.
Complete Slotora Business Owner Flow
The complete business flow is: register business, add category or custom category, add offer, set location, open dashboard, add slots, manage bookings, update profile images, add tagline and specialties, keep offers updated, and maintain availability.
Final Summary
In short: customers should use Search, Offers, Slots, Bookings, Cancellation, and Reviews. Business owners should use Manage Business, Business Dashboard, Profile, Images, Location, Offers, Slots, and Booking Management. A complete profile and clean slot schedule make Slotora more useful for both customers and businesses.
